Congratulations to Kaira Wilson, a fourth-grader, and Berkeley Gonzales, a fifth-grader from Venice Elementary School, on their accomplishments in the Venice, Florida Municipal Government's annual Florida City Government Week poster contest at their school. With the artistic guidance of their teacher, Heather Young, these students creatively expressed the theme, 'My City, I'm Part of It, I'm Proud of It.'
Kaira and Berkeley's exceptional achievement earned their classes a scrumptious pizza party, along with framed certificates presented by City Public Information Officer Lorraine Anderson. In a heartwarming surprise, their proud parents joined the celebration. Their exceptional artwork will soon find a home at City Hall. A job well done, Kaira and Berkeley!
