Greetings JKG Scholars & Family!

I am Kristian Watson, your school counselor, and I am so excited to be working with you all this school year!

This is my first year serving as an elementary school counselor. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. I also have an Education Specialist Degree in Counselor Education (K-12 School Counseling) and Certificate of Graduate Study in Career Development from The University of South Carolina --Go Gamecocks!

A bit about my personal life - In my free time I enjoying running my photography business, and I love being creative and working with technology! I have also developed a love for gardening during the pandemic. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing the fruits of your labor blossom beautifully!

My counseling theoretical approach is brief solution-focused counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy. Counseling is truly my passion and I am eager to positively impact the lives of the next generation. I aim to ensure that all students are afforded a learning environment that is equitable and inclusive to promote success in their lives. I am so excited to be joining the Wolf Pups family!
